Rachel Buckley is a Paediatric clinical nurse, PhD candidate and researcher with a passion for social justice and health system reform to meet the needs of disadvantaged young people and their families. She works in partnership with health systems, community services and policy makers to increase accessibility, appropriateness and quality of health services. Rachel has clinical experience in adolescent health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples youth health, mental health and paediatric oncology and haematology. She has led health reform in youth services in the Northern Territory and has a passion for addressing social determinants in clinical care to improve outcomes.

Rachel has research experience in partnership with youth through co-design to design models of health care.
