The CIRCA DIEM Trial Steering Committee provides independent oversight and strategic guidance for the study. The committee brings together experts in neonatology, paediatrics, clinical trials, statistics and child health to help ensure the study is conducted to the highest scientific and ethical standards.
Throughout the study, the Steering Committee has overseen trial progress, reviewed study conduct and provided independent advice on important decisions relating to participant safety, data quality and the interpretation of study findings.
As the CIRCA DIEM Trial moves into its final stages, the Steering Committee continues to support the analysis, reporting and publication of results, helping to ensure that the knowledge gained from the study can contribute to improving the care of babies born preterm.
